Sheen Gate Gardens, SW14 - Back Garden

The Brief

Initially this was a friendly slopped lawned garden covered by shade which was inaccessible and barren. We changed the structure of the garden by creating a terraced area with focal central steps leading to a raised planted area for shade with additional calm seating. We were able to maximise the space of this unique space also adding additional storage screened behind some cleaver planting, all suiting the needs of the client. Planting was for shade with a mix of forest floor, perennial and evergreen structure, along with an Acer Palmatum and a Magnolia Soulangeana as focal trees in the garden.
