Behind the Scenes: Shoot Days with MRLandscapes

At MRLandscapes, our shoot days are more than just a chance to photograph finished gardens - they’re a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate the journey behind each space.

From the first sketches to the final planting, every detail represents collaboration between our team, our clients, and the spaces themselves. Seeing the gardens come to life on camera is always special, but what really brings the day together is hearing from the people who live in them.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been revisiting a few standout projects:

• A peaceful courtyard retreat at Elm Road, Kingston, complete with a flexible pergola and layered planting.

• A clean-lined, contemporary garden at Avenue Gardens, Acton, designed for entertaining and calm.

• A low-maintenance, dog-friendly garden at Bollo Lane, Chiswick, designed for two busy professionals — blending biodiversity with relaxed, flexible outdoor living.

We’re incredibly grateful to our clients for welcoming us back into their gardens and for the generous feedback they’ve shared. It’s always a pleasure to revisit a space and hear how it’s settled into everyday life.
